"Say no to work. Say yes to looting."

Photobucket

I am here today to speak to you about a grave threat to civil order. I speak of the so-called Tea Partyers, a mob of rabid white grievance nursers ready at any time to boil over into rioting. Our intelligence services have reliably reported that the Tea Partyers do not "look like America" and include a number of ex-military personnel. Let no one underestimate the danger of this fascist, racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, germ-ridden, uncontrollable mob. Be on guard.

After dark, mobs form, smash windows, loot
(07-08) 23:33 PDT OAKLAND -- There was outrage, there was looting and there were skirmishes between police and protesters, but that wasn't the whole story of how Oakland reacted to the Johannes Mehserle verdict. …

Sporadic conflicts were quelled quickly early in the evening, but by late night at least 50 people - and maybe as many as 100 - had been arrested as small groups smashed windows, looted businesses and set trash bins on fire.

The violence was contained for much of the early evening within a one-block area near City Hall by an army of police officers in riot gear, but around 10 p.m. a knot of rioters broke loose and headed north on Broadway toward 22nd Street with police in pursuit. They smashed windows of shops including the trendy Ozumo restaurant, and one building was spray painted with the words, "Say no to work. Say yes to looting."

Photobucket

One group tore through the metal gate protecting a Footlocker shoe store on Broadway near 14th Street, shattered a window and emptied the shelves. Soon there were shoe boxes on the street.

Afterward, the group moved across the street and smashed a window at the Far East National Bank building and rampaged inside. Graffiti was sprayed on the bank wall reading "Riot for Oscar." Up and down Broadway within the police lines, skirmishes broke out between officers and small groups of protesters, some wearing black face paint.

They were in blackface? Racists!!!!!!

Officials said the main instigators appeared to be organized "anarchist" agitators wearing black clothing and hoods. Many of the most aggressive demonstrators smashing the windows of banks and shops were white.
That's whites for you. Give 'em half a chance and they revert to type. Scratch a white person and you'll find an anarchist underneath.

The first battle

Stand your ground, don't fire unless fired upon,
but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.

— Capt. John Parker, Lexington, 1775

Washington Post, July 7:
The Obama administration sued Arizona over the state's new immigration law on Tuesday, an assertion of federal power that sets up a rare clash with a state on one of the nation's most divisive political issues.
The lawyers on both sides will argue precedents and technicalities, but the people of Arizona, as well as many Americans, understand the real meaning of this act. The federal government under Mad King Barack has asserted its power to stop a state from protecting its citizens from illegal immigration unofficially sanctioned by Washington. Worse than that: it has declared that no state — and by extension, no individual or locality — can insist that Washington fulfill its own duties required by the Constitution.

Mad King Barack understands nothing about the United States, not its history, not its constitutional principles, not separation of powers, not limits on authority. For him, the United States is a prize he's won. Anyone gets out of line, his enforcers will pay a visit.

He thinks of himself as an "organizer," but he's cruder than any old-time political boss or ward heeler. They cared only about obtaining the votes of their vassals, and made sure to give favors in return. Not our Barack. He believes he has the votes, thanks to his base of federal employees, teachers, ethnics, union goons and Black Panthers. His goal is to crush opposition.

Well, there's going to be no sweeping this under the rug. Stain Man Clinton and George Doofus Bush II kept the immigration invasion quiet, out of sight, out of most minds. Population replacement went largely unnoticed, like the body replacing old cells with new ones. That won't work anymore. From now on, Washington's grab for absolute rule will play out on center stage.

We need to establish, through a constitutional amendment, a process for peaceful secession. We already know the price of un-peaceful secession.

First Muslim spacecraft to land on Earth.

Let's see, what other U.S. institutions can the Failed Messiah co-opt into his globalist dream? How about NASA? Oh, wait. That's being taken care of. Deconstructing a nation was never so much fun.
NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his "foremost" mission as the head of America's space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world. Though international diplomacy would seem well outside NASA's orbit, Bolden said in an interview with Al Jazeera that strengthening those ties was among the top tasks President Obama assigned him. He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.
That someone in his position could publicly speak such twaddle is scary enough; that he would do it on the Jihad News Network makes me think that this administration urgently needs to be declared non compos mentis and placed on meds.
"When I became the NASA administrator -- or before I became the NASA administrator -- he charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering," Bolden said in the interview.
Here we have in almost pure, undiluted form government mission creep. Remember, there is not one memorandum, not a single job in the Washington squirrel cage that isn't unwillingly funded by the desperate citizenry. If you are a taxpayer, why are your pockets being vacuumed to "re-inspire children to get into science and math"? Are there no other worthy pursuits?

Photobucket

Even if you believe, as I don't, that science and math are the royal road to Utopia, why should the government push children in directions they may not want to go in? What about the kid who likes, for example,
words and wants to be a writer, or likes history and wants to be an archaeologist? You can argue that there aren't many good jobs for writers and archaeologists, but there are no good jobs for someone herded into a position that doesn't match his interests and talents.

Help Muslim nations feel good about their "historic contribution to science"? If they've made such a historic contribution ("historic" is the right word; not much in the last 800 years), why does the head of NASA have to spend your money to make them feel good about it? Are they too stupid to feel good about how smart they are?

Photobucket

For that matter, why is the
U.S.S. Titanic in the business of making anyone, Muslim, Christian, Animist, or Atheist feel a warm glow of self-worth? Isn't that the individual's responsibility — to make life choices and accomplish things so as to have a genuine basis for feeling good about oneself?

Not in the view of the Failed Messiah and his cult. They don't trust people to know what's best for themselves, or find out by making mistakes. Only the Giant Brain of the central government, high on its subjects' money, can reach out to children or a bloc of countries to see that they follow the approved path.

Photobucket

Personally, I don't get very inspired by a politically motivated bureaucracy shooting people into orbit or dropping them off on the moon in time for supper, but if we're going to have NASA, then let it stick to its knitting. Let kids be whatever they damn want to be … if they can. And let the Muslim countries discover their fabulous contributions to science … if they can.

Is there anything left to celebrate?

Photobucket

It would not seem so.

The United States of America is unrecognizable to any of us who can remember a time before the mid-'60s, although the roots of our present state of siege long predate our own lives. Today a Marxist-oriented Left owns the mass media, the schools, academia, the government. But it's not only the Left that has leached virtue out of the Republic. Trans-national capitalists wouldn't know patriotism if it bit them, unless the bite took something out of the balance sheet.

The terrible condition we have arrived at is not due to one or the other, but to an under-the-table alliance of both.

Both want the same, for different reasons. The Left craves absolute power on the specious grounds of creating what can never be, a heaven on earth. Such fantasies always tend toward absolute power for a Politburo (by whatever name), and a hell on earth for les citoyens or the proletariat or whatever group is the nominal beneficiary of the ruling class.

The trans-national corporations know no loyalty to anything or anyone except themselves. They transfer employees from New York to Shanghai as readily as companies used to transfer employees from Weehawken to Jersey City. Nations are just a nuisance: you never know when some nutty legislature or citizen group will try to regulate them. The world is a market, a financial playground for the People Who Matter, the CEOs and international bankers.

The Left hand does know what the Right hand is doing, and vice versa, and they shake on the deal: this nationhood thing, July 4 and all that stupid garbage, is old and in the way.

Look, you guys who run the corporations, you go outsource every job to China -- wait, the Chinese are starting to get impatient about their $5 a day, let's see, Thailand, Vietnam, whatever. And while you're at it, get rid of those middle classes, we know we can't put them in front of a firing squad like in the good old days, but you can kick them out onto the street and import Indians on HB-1 visas.

Meanwhile, we'll do the class warfare number -- we've had a lot of practice, down to a science, y'know? -- and dial up the heat with racial warfare, tell all those minorities how oppressed they are by whites and the only thing standing in their way is racism. They love that stuff, eat it three meals a day, welfare plus reparations.

And on top of that, hey, are you ready for this, we've even got a plan for the holdouts. Population replacement. We import Third World desperados by the millions, tell everybody it's good for them, the Statue of Liberty ordered it. You guys get el cheapo labor, the last of the white middle class pays the welfare bill, we get the votes. Like a Declaration of Dependence, ha ha! Win-win!

* * * *

So is there anything left to celebrate?

The Left and the Corporate State agree that the United States is nothing but an idea. The Constitution, liberty, free speech, an unmuzzled press, traditional national origins, that's not what the country is about. No, it's just an idea. It consists of, "I got across the border! I'm an American! I'm the future! You gringos can curl up and die, we got birthright citizenship, we got the numbers!"

Well they're right about the United States as idea, but not the way they imagine.

The founders of the United States of America had an idea based on their knowledge of history. They understood human nature. They understood the drunken euphoria of power. They knew that central governments aggrandize themselves against subsidiary authority and local organization. The record of mankind told them that, and they were determined to create a system that could stand against the baser part of human nature.

Their answer was to divide power and to create institutions that would maintain that division. They came up with a Constitution that restricted the central power. It said bluntly that the responsibilities of the national government were limited. Everything else was none of its business.

That principle has taken a beating. The country was hardly a teenager when a Supreme Court justice decided that the court could decide whether a law -- federal, state, or local -- was constitutional, a "right" nowhere included in the Constitution. Congress should have ordered that jurist tried for treason, and unless he recanted he should have had his neck stretched. It didn't happen. So today we have nine unelected Supreme Court justices who decide, based on their own politics, whether to permit laws passed by the people's representatives. Their rule cannot be overturned. No wonder the greatest prize a president or party can win is the lifetime appointment of a Supreme Court capo.

That was only the beginning. It's gone downhill from there, not always in a straight line, with resistance that has sometimes been successful, but still -- we now live under Washington, like a South American banana republic lives under its el Presidente or Generalissimo.

Happy Fourth of July.

Greetings, you are being drafted into the Civilian Expeditionary Force

I had planned to write about the birth and death of the Universe today, but I'm not feeling motivated. So I'll do one more posting about our President-on-Training-Wheels.

Obi Won's latest brain throb is something called the Civilian Expeditionary Force.

According to ABC:

During his town hall in Racine, Wisconsin today President Obama spoke about the civilian expeditionary force within his National Security Strategy.

“We just got to be smart about using all the elements of American power, not just one element of American power,” he said.

Have "reporters" become illiterate as well as biased? You could say, "During his town hall meeting" or "During his town hall speech," but … "During his town hall"? Was Obi Won correctly quoted as saying, "We just got to be smart"? Meaning we were dead stupid before, but we drank a pitcher of Smart-Aid and now we're up there with that frizzy-haired dude who invented relativity? Or does this reporter not understand that grammatically it should be "We've"? Anyway …
The president pointed to Iraq and Afghanistan where military personnel are having to engage in work that he said really should be civilian work– like building schools and bridges -- because of under-resourcing on the civilian side …

“Make sure that we've got a civilian expeditionary force that, when we go out into some village somewhere and the military makes it secure, let's have that agricultural specialist right there, let’s have that person who knows how to train a police force right there, let's -- let's have all those personnel and let's make sure that we are giving them the support that they need in order for us to be successful on our mission.”
Ellen? "Sir!" Marilyn? "Sir!" Tommy? "Sir!"

Right! We hit the garden at 0900. Synchronize your watches! Check shovels!

Women, you too men, I don't have to tell you that this is a dangerous assignment. Booby-trapped gardenias and jihadists masquerading as mulch sellers have caused more mischief than I have time to tell you. But the world's eyes are on you, and Supreme Commissar Obama has lots of Czar positions for those who show their bravery under bribery. I want those plant rows straight, and I mean it! There will be no goddamn wasted ammunition, so make every ounce of fertilizer count.
The president warned that if the civilian side is shortchanged it could lead to another “very dangerous situation” if the diplomatic work is not done and “the only solution is a military solution that might cost us five times as much.”
And never forget — every military woman, even man, costs five times what you're worth! They can buy and sell you with their pocket change. Show some goddamn pride you're saving your country a bundle every minute you're out there on the front line.

You better not let me see your ass dragging! You will uphold the highest traditions of the Civilian Expeditionary Force and show our Afghan friends what determined women can do! You too, men. When the going gets tough, remind yourself of the inspiring words of our Supreme Commissar:
" … We must provide the appropriate authorities and mechanisms to implement and coordinate assistance programs and grow the civilian expeditionary capacity required to assist governments on a diverse array of issues.”
Got that? I hope your wills are in order and notarized. And persons in America now abed shall think themselves accursed they were not here, and hold their personhoods cheap whiles any speaks that gardened with us on St. Swithin's Day.

Now,
move!

Who says the government is stifling competition?

Senate panel approves creation of
competing spill commission

The Hill, July 1

But do we really need a new oil spill to compete with the existing one, even if it is sponsored by a Senate panel? And government spills are inefficient compared with what private enterprise can accomplish.
